You've got questions—we've got answers. Below you'll find the most common things people are asking about The Trolley.

Here's the deal—manufacturers require a minimum order per color (usually around 500 units).
Right now, blue is the only color we can promise. But if we hit 800+ orders (fingers crossed!), we’ll likely add a second—and maybe even a third—color.
After the campaign, we’ll send out a questionnaire asking for your top two color preferences. We’ll guarantee you get at least one of your top two. And if blue is your #1, you’re already locked in.
Yes! That was a must for us—airports are the most challenging part of family travel, so we designed The Trolley to fit within most carry-on guidelines.
That said, most airlines allow up to 10" in width, but a few have a 9" limit. The Trolley is 10 inches wide. Will they allow it? Most likely yes—but we can’t guarantee it 100%.
Still, our research shows that 99% of carry-ons within an inch of the limit get through, especially with a child riding on top. Let’s just say... we doubt anyone’s pulling out a tape measure mid-boarding.
Based on an August Kickstarter launch date, we’re estimating delivery in late 2025 or early 2026.
Totally fair question—but here’s why pre-ordering on Kickstarter is the move:
We feel The Trolley is best suited for kids 2 to 7—basically once they can hold on and follow simple riding instructions. That said, every kid is different, and we’ve seen some Jr. High kids still loving the ride!
The Trolley is rated for up to 150 pounds. It’s likely capable of more, but that’s the max we’ll be aiming to officially certify.
Totally fair! The Trolley isn’t a traditional clamshell suitcase—it opens from the sides, so packing is more like sliding things in rather than laying them flat.
But don’t worry:
✅ Every Trolley comes with custom compression packing cubes to make loading a breeze
✅ You’re getting way more in return: a stress-free airport experience with your kid happily rolling along
We’re still finalizing the interior design (think pockets, zippers, and smart compartments). Our current prototype is all about the riding experience, but updated interior photos are coming soon!
Yes! We designed the wheels to handle more than just smooth airport floors. While it’s not built for hiking trails, The Trolley rolls smoothly on sidewalks, tiles, and urban surfaces—perfect for cities like Tokyo, Paris, or your neighborhood coffee run.
